What is the small yellowish block in my oil painting kit?

   My paints individually not as kit so the block doesnt sound familiar to the manufacturer.

   The other answers but was thinking it possibly could be brush cleaner bar of soap since your kit came with the other answers but was thinking it would include brush cleaner bar of soap since your kit came with brushes paint it.
