How can I tell if my painting is acrylic or oil?

The person didnt know what type of paint was used how can tell if it was painting with acrylic or oil paint was painting at garage sale the person didnt.

   The same effect but when dried they tend to feel smoother.

   The eyeacrylics are usually silky feelingoils also show blended and shaded colors much smoother to the eyeacrylics are sometimes more opaque.

   For washes and oils for highlights good luck.
